They may not be copied or changed for any commercial use or for the purpose of being passed on nor used on other websites. Some internet pages of Mercedes-Benz AG also contain material that is subject to the copyright of the providing party.

Products and prices

Changes to products and services may have occurred since individual pages went to press. The manufacturer reserves the right to make changes to the design, form, colour and the scope of delivery and service specification during the delivery period, provided these changes, while taking into account the interests of Mercedes-Benz AG, can be deemed reasonable with respect to the purchaser. The illustrations may also contain accessories, optional equipment or other equipment not included in the standard scope of delivery, work or services. Colours may differ slightly from those shown, owing to the limitations of the process. Individual pages may also contain models and services which are not offered in individual countries. Information given regarding statutory regulations, legal requirements and taxation and the consequences thereof applies to the Federal Republic of Germany only. The prices as valid on the date of delivery shall apply in the absence of any provision to the contrary in the terms of sale or delivery. The prices are manufacturer's suggested retail prices for our authorised dealers. Therefore, please ask a branch or an authorised dealer about the latest status.

Trademarks

Unless indicated otherwise, all brand names shown on Mercedes-Benz AG websites are registered trademarks of Mercedes-Benz AG. This especially applies to all model designations, corporate logos and emblems relating to the company.

Licence rights

Mercedes-Benz AG aims to offer you an innovative and informative internet programme. That is why we hope you are as delighted by the creative design as we are. Please appreciate, however, that Mercedes-Benz AG needs to protect its intellectual property, including patents, trademarks and copyrights, and that these websites thus cannot serve to grant any licence rights to Mercedes-Benz AG's intellectual property.

Cautions regarding forward-looking statements

Internet pages, investor relations releases, annual and interim reports, outlooks, presentations, audio and video broadcasts of events (live or recorded) and other documents on this website include forward-looking statements about future developments based on current assessments of management. Such forward-looking statements are characterised by words such as "anticipate", "assume", "believe", "estimate", "expect", "intend", "may/might", "plan", "project", "should" and similar terms. Such statements are subject to certain risks and uncertainties. Examples here include an economic downturn in Europe or North America, changes to exchange rates, interest rates and the prices of raw materials, the launch of products by competitors, higher sales incentives, successful implementation of the new business model for smart and a decline in the resale prices for used vehicles. Should any of these uncertainty factors or any other imponderables (some of which are described under the heading "Risk report" in the current annual report of Mercedes-Benz AG and also under the heading "Risk Factors" in Mercedes-Benz AG's current annual report on form 20-F, which has been submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission) occur or should the assumptions on which the statements are based prove to be incorrect, the actual results could differ substantially from those specified or implied in these statements. We have neither the intention nor an obligation to update forward-looking statements continuously, because they are solely based on the circumstances on the day of their publication.

Liability

The information and data on these pages do not constitute any assurance or warranty, either expressly or implied. In particular, they do not constitute an implied assurance or warranty with respect to constituents, commercial viability, suitability for specific purposes or compliance with legislation and patent protection.

Our Internet pages also contain links to other pages on the Internet. We would like to point out that we have no influence on the design and content of the linked pages. We therefore also cannot assume any liability for the currency, correctness, completeness or quality of the information provided there. In light of this, we distance ourselves hereby from all contents of these pages. This declaration applies to all links to external pages on our website and the contents thereof.

The following applies to German users: Mercedes-Benz AG will not participate in a dispute settlement procedure before a consumer arbitration board within the meaning of the Act on Alternative Dispute Resolution in Consumer Matters (ADR), nor is it obliged to do so.

The OS platform is a point of contact for out-of-court resolutions of disputes regarding contractual obligations arising from online purchase contracts. You can reach the OS platform at the following link:

  • When these analysis tools are used, no data are forwarded outside of our computer network since this is hosted on servers within the Daimler Data Centre.
  • If you would rather we didn't collect and evaluate information about your visits to our websites using the aforementioned analysis tools, you can opt out of this for the future at any time.

We will implement your opt-out by placing an opt-out cookie in your browser. The sole purpose of this cookie is assignment of your opt-out. Please note that, for technical reasons, an opt-out cookie is only effective in the browser in which it has been placed. Below is the Matomo (formerly Piwik) opt-out option:

Data protection information.

We look forward to your visit to our websites and your interest in our offerings. The protection of your personal data is a central concern to us. In this Privacy Statement, we explain how we collect your personal data, what we do with them, for what purposes and on what legal basis this is done, and what rights and entitlements are associated with this for you. In addition, we refer to the Daimler Data Protection Policy:

www.daimler.com/data-protection-policy

Our Privacy Statement in relation to the use of our websites and the Data Protection Policy of Mercedes-Benz AG do not apply to your activities on the websites of social networks or other providers to which you may have access via links on our websites. Please check the websites of these providers for their own data protection regulations.

Collection and processing of your personal data

When you visit our websites we store certain items of information relating to your employed browser and operating system, the date and time of your visit, any search terms you may enter, how often you call up the individual websites, the names of retrieved files, the transferred data volume and the website from which you access our websites. We also store the name of your internet service provider on security grounds, in particular to prevent and identify attacks on our websites or attempted fraud.

We shall only store other personal data if you provide us with such data in connection with a registration process, a contact form, a survey, a competition or execution of a contract, for example, and then only to the extent to which we are permitted by consent which you have granted or by applicable legal provisions (see the section "Legal basis of processing" below for further information).

There is no legal or contractual obligation for you to provide your personal data. However, it is possible that certain functions of our websites depend on the provision of personal data. If you do not provide personal data in these cases, functions may not be available or only in limited form.

Purposes of use

We use the personal data we collect during a visit to our websites to make them as convenient as possible for you to use as well as to protect our IT systems against attacks and other illegal activities.

Where you provide us with additional personal data, e.g. in connection with a registration process, a contact form, a survey, a competition or execution of a contract, we use these data for the stated purposes, for customer management purposes and - where necessary - for the purposes of handling any business transactions and settling the appurtenant accounts, to the necessary extent in each instance.

Transfer of personal data to third parties; social plug-ins

Our websites may also contains offers from third parties. When you click on such an offer, we transmit data to the necessary extent to the particular provider (e.g. the information that you found this offer on our websites and, where applicable, additional information which you have already shared on our websites for this purpose).

Where we use so-called "social plug-ins" of social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and Google+ on our websites, we integrate these as follows:

  • When you visit our websites, the social plug-ins are deactivated, i.e. there is no transmission of any data to the operators of these networks. If you wish to use one of these networks, click on the appropriate social plug-in, in order to establish a direct connection with the server of the respective network.
  • If you have a user account at this network and are currently logged in there when you activate the social plug-in, the network is able to associate your visit to our websites with your user account. If you would like to prevent that, please log out from the network prior to the activation of the social plug-in. A social network cannot assign visits to other Daimler websites before you activate a social plug-in located there.
  • When you activate a social plug-in, the network transfers the contents available as a result directly to your browser, which now integrates them into our websites. There may also be data transfers in this situation initiated and controlled by the particular social network. Your connection to a social network, the data transfers that occur between the network and your system, and your interactions on that platform are governed solely by the privacy policies of that network.

The social plug-in remains active until you deactivate it or delete your cookies.
Please refer to the cookie information for further details.

When you click on the link for an offer or activate a social plug-in, it is possible that personal data will be sent to providers outside the European Economic Area, which from the point of view of the European Union ("EU") do not guarantee an "appropriate protection level" for processing your personal data that meet the EU standards. Please keep this in mind before you click on a link or activate a social plug-in and thereby trigger a transfer of your data.

Safety

We apply technical and organisational security measures to protect your data which we have under our control against manipulation, loss, destruction and access by unauthorised persons. Our security measures are subject to ongoing improvement in line with technological developments.

Legal basis of processing

If you have consented to the processing of your personal data, this content represents the legal basis for the processing (Art. 6, Section 1 (a) GDPR.

For processing of personal data for the purposes of initiating or fulfilling a contract with you, the legal basis is provided by Art. 6, Section 1 (b) GDPR.

If the processing of your personal data is required to meet our legal obligations (e.g. on data retention), we are authorised to do so as per Art. 6, Section 1 (c) GDPR.

In addition, we process personal data for the purposes of safeguarding our rightful interests as well as the rightful interests of third parties pursuant to Art. 6, Section 1 (f) GDPR. Such rightful interests are maintaining the functioning of our IT systems, but also marketing our own and third-party products and services as well as the legally prudent documentation of business contacts.

Deletion of your personal data

We delete the name of your internet service provider after storing it on security grounds for seven days. Otherwise, we delete your personal data as soon as the reason for which we collected and processed the data ceases to exist. Beyond this point, storing of data only takes place if this a requirement pursuant to the laws, regulations or other statutory provisions of the European Union or one of the member states of the European Union by which we are bound.

Rights of data subjects

As the data subject of the data processing, you have the right of information (Art. 15 GDPR), correction (Art. 16 GDPR), data deletion (Art. 17 GDPR), limitation of the processing (Art. 18 GDPR) as well as data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

If you consented to the processing of your personal data by us, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The legality of the processing of your personal data until a withdrawal remains unaffected by the withdrawal. The further processing of these data on another legal basis, for example in order to meet legal obligations (cf. section "Legal basis of processing") shall also remain unaffected.

Right of objection

You have the right to object at any time for reasons pertaining to your special situation to the processing of personal data relating to you which takes place in accordance with Art. 6, Section 1 (e) GDPR (data processing in the public interest) or Art. 6, Section 1 (f) GDPR (data processing based on a weighing of interests) at any time. If you file an objection, we will continue to process your personal data only insofar as we are able to present compelling grounds for processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms or where processing serves the assertion, exercising or defence of legal claims.

In order to exercise the above rights, please send us an email at bb-portal@daimler.com

Should you believe that the processing of your personal data violates legal provisions, you have the right to file a complaint with a competent data protection authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
